Product Care

How to care for you new thing:

T-Shirts, Hoodies and Sweatshirts

Yay! Your new thing arrived! It just got hot off of the printing press, so the print is brand new. It may smell a little bit weird, and that is a normal byproduct of the printing process. It will come out in the first wash.

Your print is bright and beautiful, so let’s keep it that way!

Over many many many washes and hanging out to dry in the sun, all T-shirts will show some signs of wear as they get older. We recommend to follow these instructions to keep it looking great for longer:

an inside out t-shirt next to a laundry bag

If you have one, slip your dirty tee - turned inside out - into a delicates or laundry washing bag. This will help keep other items of your washing load from snagging the shirt, and also the microfibres(lint) from your tee from entering your machine and into the waterways.

We recommend using one of these laundry bags or a delicates wash bag, they are quite frequently used to wash underwear and other delicates.

Place the laundry bag with your tee into the washing machine with similar coloured garments. Think dark colours together in one load and light colours together in another. This will help to reduce colour leakage from your favourite blue jeans or your pink underwear to your new white tee.

Set your washing machine to a cold wash cycle. It won’t only save your heating bills AND is better for the environment, but it will help to keep your tee’s print in good condition.

If you can, hang your tee out to dry instead of using the tumble dryer. It will keep it’s shape better and have a more natural dry.

If you have to use the dryer on those winter days, set it to a low temperature dry. Our T-shirts are pre-shrunk to avoid sizing down in your washing machine.

Your T-shirt is clean and ready to wear!
