Your logo, machine-embroidered by me onto an AS Colour Staple Tee 5001. It is a 180GSM combed cotton regular fit tee, XS to 3XL. Made to order.

$45 — the $30 blank plus $15 to embroider it, which covers all materials, machine set-up and a test stitch I'll show you before anything goes onto your tee. Up to 4 thread colours included. I will try my best to match the colours of your design with what I have in the studio.

Do you also need digitisation?

Digitisation is the process of converting your logo file (.PNG or .JPG) into a stitch file (.DST or .PES) that the embroidery machine can read. This requires a specialist to draw the logo again in the sequence that the machine will make it's stitches.

If you already have an embroidery file (.DST or .PES), no = just add your tees and email the file over with your order number to hello@piste-and-trail.com.au

If you have a logo, artwork or just an idea, yes = add Custom Embroidery - Digitisation to your cart once. Digitisation of an existing logo is $35, takes 2–4 days, and it's charged once per artwork size no matter how many pieces you order.

Artwork Placement

  • Left lapel — up to 100mm high artwork size
  • Right lapel — up to 100mm high artwork size
  • Centre chest — up to 100mm high artwork size

Height is measured top to bottom of the finished design and the width scales to suit. I'll confirm the exact finished dimensions on your proof. Want a specific number rather than the maximum? Please tell me it in the order notes. Fine detail and small text don't always survive below about 15mm, so if you're going small, send the artwork over first and I'll tell you honestly whether it'll hold up.

After a large front or large back design? Those are priced by stitch count, so email me and I'll quote it.

Colours and thread

Twenty-four colours to choose from - these are the ones I keep moving. AS Colour makes the Staple Tee in 70 shades all up, so if you've got your heart set on something else, email me and I'll order it in. Embroidery - up to 4 thread colours is included in the price. I can stitch up to 15, and anything above 4 is priced on the design, so send it over and I'll quote you.

Good to know

Turnaround is around 2–3 weeks from proof approval, and I can have blanks in within a couple of days. Because every piece is made to your specification, custom embroidery isn't returnable unless there's a fault on my end, which is exactly why I'll always show you a test stitch first. I'm Sarah, and I design and hand-draw every print myself here in Tathra, NSW. From there, each design becomes a small-batch garment made from recycled materials - ethically manufactured by trusted partners who bring my prints to life. We offer free standard shipping for all orders over $120.00

We currently ship Australia-wide only. We're working on international shipping but it's on hold for now due to tariff complications — stay tuned!

Every item is either hand-made to order or made in small batches. Prints are all hand-drawn by Sarah in Tathra, NSW. Depending on the product, garments are then printed, cut and sewn by our ethical partners in the USA or China, or embroidered in-house on the Far South Coast.

Once shipped, we use DHL and Australia Post, with Express available on most items from our studio in Tathra.

Returns and Size Exchanges

As we are trying to be responsible and reduce textile waste, we won't accept returns simply for a change of mind... However we understand that if you have ordered the wrong size in one of our items and it simply does not fit - please contact us via email and we will arrange a new garment in the correct size for an exchange.

If you notice that there is something wrong with your item when you receive it, please reach out as soon as possible as we will try our best to help.
