A swamp wallaby, hand-drawn by me and machine-embroidered onto 100% premium Australian Merino wool.

Shy, solitary, and rarely seen, the swamp wallaby is one of Australia's most understated natives - content to keep to the dense coastal scrub and wetlands most people walk straight past. We think it deserves a bit more attention, which is exactly what this design gives it. A soft, Australian-made swamp wallaby beanie, perfect for layering up on cold days.

Knitted by a small mill in the Yarra Valley, then embroidered by us on the Far South Coast from an original hand-drawn design - two small Australian makers, one beanie. Faun, matching the soft grey-brown of the wallaby's coat.

Part of a limited production run - once this batch sells out, it won't be repeated exactly the same way.

About Our Brand

I'm Sarah, and I design and hand-draw every animal myself here in Tathra, NSW. From there, each motif becomes an elegant embroidery on a small-batch made garment - ethically knitted in the Yarra Valley by a mill that supports the circular economy, who bring my knitted mountain-wear dreams to life.

Care Information

This is pure merino wool so reasonable care is needed to keep this item in your adventure quiver for a long time. Merino wool has excellent anti-odor properties which reduces the need for frequent washing.

If you need to wash or reshape then hand wash the beanie cold, and reshape and then lay flat to dry.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer free standard shipping for all orders over $150.00

We currently ship Australia-wide only. We're working on international shipping but it's on hold for now due to tariff complications — stay tuned!

Every item is either hand-made to order or made in small batches. Prints are all hand-drawn by Sarah in Tathra, NSW. These merino beanies are knitted in the Yarra Valley and then embroidered in-house on the Far South Coast.

Once shipped, we use DHL and Australia Post, with Express available on most items from our studio in Tathra.

Returns and Size Exchanges

As we are trying to be responsible and reduce textile waste, we won't accept returns simply for a change of mind... However we understand that if you have ordered the wrong size in one of our items and it simply does not fit - please contact us via email and we will arrange a new garment in the correct size for an exchange.

If you notice that there is something wrong with your item when you receive it, please reach out as soon as possible as we will try our best to help.
